View NotesThe Jed Luckless EuroTour 2020 continues with Jed and gang following the lines going South to Brazil! It's the third show on the tour, and it's another heater at Vibe Live Music in Secondlife, a return stop on Jed's Europe Tour from previous years.

The show gets started with "Back Again," reminiscient of Jed's "Back Again" tour on which every show began with this song. In the second slot is "The Hairdresser" an instrumental that seems perfect in the Brazilian setting. Things open up next with the pop-rocker "Nothings Ever Free" and the first long jam of the night, an intense improv with a solid backbea and some nice echoing guitar line. It drops into the romantic "I Know There's Something." The first pair of covers surface next with a Phish combo platter featuring a rocking version of "No Men In No Man's Land" and the poignant "Fast Enough For You." The jam in between is fun as Jed tries to pull off a Seinfeld theme tease in honor of Jerry Stiller who had recently passed away. Jed wraps up the set with the bouncy "Forgot To Forget."

After a short break Jed and Moonie are back, kicking off the second set with a smoky version of "The Need For Love" which produces the longest jam of the night, featuring great use of the theramin, some nice vocal treatments and more Seinfeld teases. It devolves into a nice ambient segment that slides effortlessly into "Send Me A Package." It's the debut of a brand new tune from Jed, and it's a rocker we hope to hear more of. After a short reflection on how the world is all dealing with the same thing and Jed feels closer than ever to his European fans, he lightens things up with the 'double entendre' song "Roll Over," the title track off his 2016 album. Another cut from that album follows, the proggy and profound "Water Glass," with its typical energized solo section. A GuRGLe era tune is up next, the pastoral "Open Road," which seems a perfect choice for the tour. Another cover tune comes next, "Good Lovin'" with the Grateful Dead Pigpen treatment featuring Jed rappin' and getting a little political. Jed's calypso original "By and Bye" closes the set, and the light show explodes on this one, inspiring Jed to rock so hard he breaks a string. But he carries right on into the encore without skipping a beat and delivers a nice rendition of Prince's "Purple Rain."

This is a hot hot hot show from Jed south of the border in Brazil, featuring a great mix of original tunes, several rockin' jams, a couple of great Phish tunes, a few other assorted covers and an overal great vibe at Vibe Live Music! Enjoy!
