View NotesIt's the 2013 Jed Luckless Holiday Revue! This is year five of the Jed Luckless tradition that occurs each year in Secondlife and features live holiday music and a fundraiser for charity. This year the concert was a benefit for Lagond Music School & Studios, raising money to support music education for children. The show kicks off in true Jed holiday fashion with a mash up of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and "Mighty Quinn" and it's a sign of what's to come through out the evening as Jed blends Christmas classics with Phish teases, Dead tunes, fun stories and more. First set highlights include "O Come All Ye Faithful" ala Fleetwood Mac, "Here Comes Santa Claus" with legal disclaimers and "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" with a play by play of the reindeer games. Intermission features an amazing mash-up of performances by Lagond Music School students and the talent is truly astounding and makes for the perfect set break music. Second set opens with a Phishy pairing, an extended "Do They Know It's Christmas" featuring a "Bathtub Gin" jam and "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" which features a "My Sweet One" tease. Other set highlights include an eleven-minute "Silver & Gold," a rocking Jed debut of the Kinks "Father Christmas" and a "Twelve Days Of Christmas" closer that builds to a "Sunshine Daydream" finale. Another super fun Jed Luckless celebration of the holidays for a good cause. Enjoy!
