View NotesMatrix by dusborne 03-11-2015 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tagging notes: Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file. It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy. Use ffp to validate audio integrity. Md5 values will change if tagging is altered. Dave Usborne 03-11-2015

Fix of shnid 2177
Taper Notes:
View Notes------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fix of shnid 2177 I made the transition between CDs 2 and 3 seamless and cleaned up the resulting SBEs with shntool. I also converted the nonseekable SHNs to FLAC. Many thanks to whomever did the the DAT>CD transfer for providing the overlap that made this fix possible. There is a short segment in the transition between drums and space where the volume is almost inaudible. This is not a fade, it's part of the original recording. It seemed an appropriate place to split the tracks. Also, there is a short burst of static at 11:59 in d2t06. Although this is right where the splice was made, it's part of the original recording, in both segments of redundant material. View NotesThis show was recorded differently than the rest of the tour. I mic'd the rear/delay speaker stacks hanging off of the pavilion area with mics spaced about 40-50 feet apart. My tour buddy Steve "Baldy" Ulman and I had been discussing mic'ing the rear stacks all summer and decided to pull it off here. He went in early with two towels to save small spots for the mic stands and I came in behind with two mic stands and the gear. We spaced out the mics and hit record with the mics pointing up at the speakers instead of trying to mic the main PA speakers located under the covered section. The results were better than expected! View NotesComments: These were the only shows I was able to get to in 1990. After a great first night they changed it up a bit and still had another wonderful show. (IMHO) These were some of the last shows before the band lost Brent 7 days later and we really enjoyed some of the "out there" stuff during the space section by him at these "Indy" shows. Enjoy the recordings folks. Please: Convert to lossy format only for personal use. Please: Do Not Buy or Sell This Recording. Please: Trade Freely, Keeping The Recorder And Lineage Information Intact. Please: Relax and Enjoy!
