Taper Notes:
View NotesThis is a matrix, done by hansokolow in ProTools, of the following sources: SBD: shnid= 80278 SBD -> Dat (44.1k) Transfer Info: Dat (Sony D8 -> Samplitude Professional v8.01 -> FLAC (3 Discs Audio / 2 Discs FLAC) All Transfers and Mastering By Charlie Miller [email protected] November 23, 2006 ----------------------------------- DAUD: shnid=7891 FOB master audience DAT>DAT>CD>EAC>SHN Recorded with Schoeps CMC44 microphones ----------------------------------- My Notes: hansokolow's notes: The DAUD had to be shrunk by about 4 cents to fit the DSBD better, which is not uncommon, even with dats. There was a cut of a quarter of a second or so in The Weight on the DAUD at 2:00. Completed: 11/18/2008 -Tano

View NotesWe had a huge quiet zone staked out with lots of very quiet friends and blockers. This was a focused effort with a lot of dedicated folks. So hot.  Baking in the sun. We arrived to the lot, and, got in line early in the morning, and spent the morning and afternoon waiting in line, cooking on asphalt in 106º sun. A friend of ours passed out during the show due to the heat. I had brought in a white cotton bed sheet that I had cut a hole in the middle of, to create a white sun reflecting poncho. We covered her in the poncho, and poured water over her to try to cool her down. It worked, but was a pretty scary moment.
