View Notes- It was running a little slow so I sped it up by 2.5%, it sounds about right. - A small amount of noise reduction has been applied. - The mix is a little weird to start with but settles down about half way through "Hell In A Bucket." - There are a few other small anomalies. - The last 1:50 or so of "Big Railroad Blues" is missing. - First 25 seconds or so of "Looks Like Rain" are missing. Comments: First "Visions Of Johanna" Thanks to Brian Barletta for getting this to me. * He told me "I haven't listened to this show since maybe '93 that's when I got it from a store that taped shows for people. That's all I know about the history." edited and mastered SIRMick September 2010

View NotesNOTES: ** added -20dB limiter at start from the PA/AKG mics overloading the recorder. CC through start of Big RR lower levels on master tape [1] Jerry leaves stage well before the conclusion of the jam. A significant portion of this jam is a Bob and Brent Jam. [h/t deadbase V] [2] There is a grinding sound from the PA, thought to be Weir's rig distorting, throughout this entire spring tour. It is present only when they are playing, not during breaks. I listened to several FOB audience sources from this tour and they all have this "noise".

View NotesNotes: - Visions of Johanna is first time played - Thanks to Mike for getting me the files to finish up and share with the community! Notes from Mike Buyers: All songs except Hell in a Bucket recorded in dbx 1. Hell was in Dolby C. The eq is quite dry, but the frequency response is great, needs a 10 band. I did a few shows with this home deck which came with dbx 1 noise reduction built in. I removed the power supply and installed it in a separate enclosure with a 5 pin DIN plug. I boxed up two separate 12 volt NiCads and a 3 volt supply to power up the unit and the original power supply did the recharge when the deck did not need to be powered up. It made it through 2 hours of recording as fellow tapers were placing bets on when it would die. Seeded to etree on: 01/29/2012
