The GEMs soundboard was quite a bit fast averaging about 1.2 seconds/minute. Thanks again to all who supplied parts of this project. Brokedown House Production

This includes all of Dire Wolf, Uncle Bobo Intro, On The Road Again and the first 5 minutes and 33.154 seconds of To Lay Me Down. For the Matrix/DTS, the Rolfe (AUD2) was used for the audience tracks for the mix. 2) Between Cassidy and I've Been All Around This World, 40.609 seconds were missing from the Menke Audience (AUD1) (and the Rolfe Audience (AUD2)) source and was filled in with audio from the Soundboard (SBD) source. 3) At the beginning of 2nd set, 09.919 seconds were missing from the Soundboard (SBD) source and was filled in with audio from the Rolfe (AUD2) source. This includes first notes of Alabama Getaway. 4) Between I Know You Rider and Looks Like Rain, 31.903 seconds were missing from the Soundboard (SBD) source and was filled in with audio from the Menke (AUD1) source. 5) Between Fire On The Mountain and Estimated Prophet, 34.495 seconds were missing from the Soundboard (SBD) source and was filled in with audio from the Rolfe (AUD2) source. 6) About 15 seconds into Jerry/Drums Jam, 17.680 seconds were missing from the Soundboard (SBD) source and was filled in with audio from the Rolfe (AUD2) source. 7) About 2 minutes and 15 seconds into Drums Jam, 19.423 seconds were missing from the Soundboard (SBD) source and was filled in with audio from the Rolfe (AUD2) source. 8) About 4 minutes and 45 seconds into Drums Jam, 35.755 seconds were missing from the Soundboard (SBD) source and was filled in with audio from the Rolfe (AUD2) source. 9) At the end of Drums, 03.315 seconds were missing from the Menke (AUD1) source and was filled in with audio from the Rolfe (AUD2) source. 10) Between Sunshine Daydream and Satisfaction, 1 minute and 17.366 seconds were missing from the Soundboard (SBD) source and was filled in with audio from the Menke (AUD1) source. This includes first few notes of Satisfaction. 11) NOTE: The Menke Audience came in 24/96 format and the Dave McCallum DVD came as 16/48 format while the Soundboard and Rolfe Audience came as 16/44 format. Using R8brain Pro, the Menke Aud was reduced to 16/48 and the Soundboard and Rolfe Audience were expanded to 16/48 so as to facilitate ending up with 16/48 matrix to use on upcoming video. After matrix was mixed, R8Brain Pro was used to reduce matrix and soundboard to cd compatible 16/44. 12) Matrix\DTS were synced using the video as a reference. Both sources were well matched soundwise with the soundboard and Rolfe Audience ran slightly slow as compared with the video and the Menke audience was just slightly fast. Brokedown House Production

View NotesSeamless fix and patch of shnid 6391 - deleted redundancy between d3t05 and d4t01 to make the transition seamless; the transition is quiet so I didn't include fade tracks. - patched in Dire Wolf, On the Road Again and first 5:25 of To Lay Me Down - patched in beginning of Alabama Getaway as well as Rooster and the beginning of Chinacat - redid splices in LLR and Sugar Mag (also included NYE countdown) - patched in the beginning of Satisfaction - pitch corrections in SBD went as follows (using CE Pro to synch SBD and AUD tracks as close as possible, then time/pitch stretch the SBD tracks): entire acoustic set 99.45% Alabama to TLEO 98.7% Chinacat to Deal 98.85% Sugar Mag to end of show 98.8% The SBD tape has some wow in it, so it was hard to correct the pitch exactly; the above time stretches were precise enough to allow smooth patches, but a lot more work will have to be done if this is ever to be matrixed properly. Calling Chris Chapelle... :-) Patches were done in Cool Edit Pro. All other editing was done in CE 2000 on a clean, unfragmented drive with all nonessential programs shut down. There are a few minutes of quiet tuning between CDs 1 and 2 that I left in to preserve continuity. There are also a few minutes of quiet tuning between Fire and Estimated. (On the AUD it's loud as hell. :-)) Bill Tetzeli ([email protected]) 6:31 PM 5/5/2006 ===== This was inadvertently FLAC encoded with replaygain. If you're playing the FLACs in Winamp you should reFLAC the files without the replaygain option. If you're burning extracted .wavs to CD, these are unaffected and no reFLACing is necessary. I apologize for the error.
