It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy. Use ffp to validate audio integrity. Md5 values will change if tagging is altered.

Recorded By Mason Taylor on a Nakamichi 550 Cassette Deck, on chrome tapes, with Nakamichi microphones
Taper Notes:
View NotesDrums/Space with Airto Moriera, Flora Purim and Greg Errico "Mason B. Taylor was a taper from Chicago that recorded concerts by many bands in the Chicagoland area and on Dead tours. He used a Nakamichi 550 with Nakamichi 300 mics with shotgun capsules for most of his earlier recordings. In later years he used Sony D-5 and Sony D-3 cassette recorders with Nakamichi 300 mics. Mason captured spectacular musical moments and loved to share them with his closest friends. In honor of Mason and all the love he put into his recordings we are now able to share these moments with those who can appreciate them most. As the shows get uploaded we would love for you to share your stories about the epic times the music evokes so we can all dial back into that moment when the magic was happening. Thanks to Mason’s family and his Chicago and Cleveland friends for opening up Mason’s Jar…"

View NotesClean Up notes: The pauses between songs are found on my cassette (I should have known better) Some editing was done to smooth these transitions out better Tape flips were spliced as needed, the amplitude was increased and DC offsett correction was applied The second set recording started late and the beginning of Scarlet Begonias is missing It was an unfortunate coincidence that with these edits the second set fits on 1 cd For historical reference only and not intended for resale or any commercial use.
