While the Audio-CD standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial) to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the volume very low, start the disc and raise the volume gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the analog audio outputs of your CD/DVD player. Joani is a master and deserves credit." --- Fix Notes: This is a minor fix of the Walker-Vernon source shnid 15880. My original intention was to patch the cousinit soundboard with material from this aud; one listen changed my mind. This is a fantastic recording, and the only "fix" was to smooth the splice in Space from d2t09-d3t01. There was a little material to work with, and I don't think you'll notice the transition at all now; discs 2-3 are seamless. Enjoy this great recording! As on the original, some of inter-song material is cut out. aolong April 26, 2006.
