Transfer: Reels to PC by Mike Marino CD Extraction and edits by Bill Koucky January 2008 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Thank you to Paul Bottiglio and Tony Gardner for making the SBD available. -Thank you to Ron Ellner for recording the show. -Thank you to Mike Marino, Bill Koucky, and The Green Mountain Brothers for making the Audience recording available. -Thanks to germain for everything; seeding, encouragement, advice, and tutelage. No complete soudboard circulates for the acoustic set or encores. I elected not to include the acoustic set. The encores are solely from the GMB audience source. Notes: Mix Ratio: SBD -0 db Aud -7 db ** some minor mix adjustments here and there when needed ** The audience recording is fast, an adjustment of about -1.1% will put it in standard tuning. There is a bit of tape hiss on the SBD, I chose not to remove this. Electric Set 2 ---There is about 15 seconds of tape flucuation on the aud. at the very start of Alabama Getaway. ---There are flucuations in the SBD mix, especially Jerry's Guitar, in Alabama Getaway. ---The SBD reels seem to be paused between most songs in this set. ---Crowd noise from the end of Candyman and the very begining of Rooster is patched with the aud. for 59 seconds. ---6 second aud. patch at the begining of The Wheel. Electric Set 3 ---Aud. tape flip right after Fire. ---4 second aud. patch during the jam in Estimated. ---9 second SBD patch near the end of drums. ---3 second aud. patch right before the first verse in Uncle John's Band. ---Encores pitch corrected by -1.1%. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tagging notes: Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file. It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy. Use ffp to validate audio integrity. Md5 values will change if tagging is altered. dusborne 02-29-2012 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
