Matrix by Hunter Seamons using Final Cut Pro (FLAC>AIFF>Final Cut>WAV>FLAC) November 2, 2008 Notes: 1) Fades were used to create a "seamless" AUD track (i.e., no AUD "gaps" despite cuts made to the SBD source). This allows the listener to remain always in "audience" mode and to not be suddenly teleported into "lonely and bleak studio" mode. 2) Due to weirdness and high hiss at the very beginning of Stranger in the SBD, I opted to have only the AUD play, which is "consistent" with the other set-opening SBD cut at the beginning of Samson. I also experienced extreme weirdness in the SBD at the tail-end of Althea, so I faded to AUD-only there. 3) The 2 SBD sources used before Supplication seem to have a little more hiss and are less optimal than the "SBD -> Master Cassette -> Dat -> CD" source. 4) The shnid=24829 AUD patches were maintained (re-synced) for the matrix, so there is a slight tonal difference during those moments. Miller's nice cross-fades for the patches were kept intact (thus maintaining the "seamless" AUD track). The SBD patches were redone for matrix purposes (as I do most of the time). 5) 1 Miller SBD Source + 1 Miller AUD Source = 1 Just Exactly Perfect MTX Source

View NotesTagging notes: Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file. It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy. Use ffp to validate audio integrity. Md5 values will change if tagging is altered. B.
