Taper Notes:
View NotesTranscriptors note: The original DAT source was good, but the high end was a bit lacking. I used Cool Edit pro to boost the high end by using FFT filtering (approximately 7.89 db). I found this was a marked improvement on the original sound. You will notice that the bass floor on this recording is a bit lacking (this is true on the original recording), but it picks up after Candyman. If you listen closely, you can here the mikes being moved ever so slightly for the first six numbers. Matt Vernon note: I have compared this with the Glassberg aud digitized by John Steinthal from Barry's master cassettes. This is the same source, though it has been equalized by increasing the treble as described in the info file. The "brighter" sound of this source is more typical of audience recordings that were recorded with Dolby but not played back to decode the Dolby.
