Taper Notes:
View NotesEncoding by Matt Vernon Thanks to Dave Minor and Raoul Duke for the DAT's and CD's Part of "The Music Never Stopped Project 2003" - no drum solo this show! - the sound for this source is more FOB and brighter than the other etree seed (http://db.etree.org/shninfo_detail.php?shnid=13058) for this date. Spectral analysis shows that the rise and fall times of notes shorter for this source. - the pre-emphasis bits were set per EAC. I digitally applied de-emphasis using curves taken from Cirrus Logic CS42L50 Data Sheet Figure 31. The filter was defined by these values 0db from 0 to 3.183kHz; -10db from 10.61kHz and higher; linear gain in between with highest accuracy setting on Cool Edit Pro. - d1t3 sounds like something popping nearby (ballons? firecrackers?? not too intrusive whatever it is) - d1t6 tape flip after song ends presumed (fade out/in after track) - d1t7 fade out/in after track
