SBD + AUD Matrix 2 Source Mix (60%-SBD/40%-AUD)
Taper Notes:
View NotesTech Notes SHNs\FLACs were decoded to wave and Audition 3.0 was used to reassemble the tracks back to 1 long wave. Audition 3.0 was used to align & synch the SBD & AUD sources. Audition 3.0 used to adjust the volume for AUDs, matrix/CTR and LFE channels. Surcode DVD Pro DTS was used to encode to DTS. - Mixed by [email protected] - FLAC conversion 02-DEC-2007 --------------------------------------------------------- Multitrack Mixdown Settings SET ONE Stereo Matrix SBD 0 AUD -1.5 SET TWO Stereo Matrix SBD 0 AUD -1.5 --------------------------------------------------------- Audio Patches: 1) Before Ollin Arrageed, 23 minute and 52.960 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better. 2) Between Friend of the Devil and Mama Tried, 13.538 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better. 3) Both Mama Tried and Big River were from another audience source but included as part of shnid 4160. There is a distinctly different sound than the FOB source. 4) Between Big River and Loser, 14.219 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better. 5) Also between Big River and Loser, 47.212 seconds were missing from the soundboard source and was filled in with audio from the audience source. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better. 6) Between Loser and Stagger Lee, 1 minute and 26.015 seconds were missing from the soundboard source and was filled in with audio from the audience source. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better. This ended disk 1. 7) Jack Straw was from another audience source but included as part of shnid 4160. There is a distinctly different sound than the FOB source. As the sbd had almost no vocals, I did the best I could to mix them in with the not quite as good audience. 8) Between Jack Straw and Ship Of Fools, 21.620 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better. 9) At the beginning of Space, 12.552 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better. Set 1 of the Audience ran about 2% fast compared to the Soundboard (2 seconds fast per minute). Set 2 was much closer at 0.3%. remaster of shn #107304 by acetboy of the MOTB Release: 0138 16-44.1 Taped By: Eldon Porray Transfer By: Bob Menke Mastering By: Bill Koucky, Derek McCabe
Taper Notes:
View NotesThis is a remaster of shn #107304. The original patches for Mama Tried, Big River and Jack Straw are completely redone. Those patches now are from shn #94537. All of the work was done in ocenaudio and Harrison Mixbus. The included before and after screen captures show the whole show. You can't see everything I do in them but they give an idea of how they are different from the original. If the original files were high res then most of the work was done at that rate. The finished product is CD quality. The files are tagged. acetboy 2023-09-12

Taper Notes:
View Notes- most tracks have been pitch corrected - gain boosted in right channel by varying amounts to make the sound more central - the tape was paused on a number of occasions betweeen tracks, crossfaded have been put in - d1t01, the first 9:14 have been patched in. The sound is muffled from 9:14 until 11:36 and then improves from there on. - d2t04, the left channel completely dropped out for the last 30 seconds. To preserve the ambience of the audince recording the left channel of the patch source and the right channel of this recording have been matrixed to form a new left channel and patched in. It works better than just using the soundboard source. - d2t05, the left channel completely dropped out for the first 9:45. The same method, as for d2t04, was used to create a new left channel. The remainder of this track was completely missing and has been patched in - d3t01, first 3:47 was missing and has been patched in. The next 17 seconds had a complete dropout in the left channel, The same method, as for d2t04, was used to create a new left channel patch source: SBD -> Master Reel -> PCM -> Dat (44.1k) shnid 87782 -* d2t01 and d2t02 are from different sources to the rest of the show - Disc 2 requires an overburn Comments: - This is a stealth recording and although the balance between channels is somewhat variable, the sound is very good ---------------------------------------------------------- - Taped and transferred anonymous Source

While the Audio-CD standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial) to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the volume very low, start the disc and raise the volume gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the analog audio outputs of your CD/DVD player. Burning Instructions Burn them the absolute same way as you would burn any normal Audio-CD from FLAC files. Brokedown House Production
