View NotesGeneral Notes: An excellent Miller SBD made this matrix very enjoyable to do. The Wagner AUD is nice, and although distant at first, it does improve and adds extra energy into an already raging performance. Half-Step, Bertha> Good Lovin', and the only Dew of '78 are highlights. Thanks to Charlie Miller for the kind SBD, and to Bob wagner for recording the AUD and David Minches for the transfer. Artwork by Paul Gilbert - thanks! Enjoy! -Chappy _________________________________ Editing Notes: - Pitch/Synch The SBD needed to be pitched up between 2 and 7 cents starting at Friend 'O through Sunrise. For the rest of the show the SBD had to be pitched up 10 cents. The AUD on average had to be pitched down between -2 and -5 cents until Playin', and for the remainder of the show, the AUD was pitched up on average 3 cents. The AUD was synched to the SBD. - Sonic Quality/Matrix ratio No EQ was applied to either source. Waves L2 was used to avoid square waves, the levels rarely hitting zero. If I had to guess, the SBD/AUD ratio would be somewhere around 3:1. - Edits The following are places where the SBD and AUD had splices, holes or incomplete coverage in reference to the final matrix timeline. SBD: s1t01 (0:00 - 0:52) - missing (crowd) s1t01 (9:59 - 10:33) - missing (crowd) s1t04 (7:07 - 7:25) - missing (crowd) s1t05 (4:30 - 4:41) - missing (crowd) s1t06 (5:17 - 6:00) - missing (crowd) s1t08 (7:00 - 7:18) - missing (crowd) s2t01 (0:00 - 0:39) - missing (crowd) s2t03 (6:47 - 7:31) - missing (crowd) s2t04 (7:28 - 7:46) - missing (crowd) s2t08 (6:42 - 7:01) - missing s2t10 (8:21 - 9:48) - missing (crowd) AUD: s1t01 (10:38 - 11:13) - missing (crowd) s1t03 (4:28 - 4:53) - missing (crowd) s1t07 (14:27 - 14:44) - missing (crowd) s2t03>4 (7:53 - 0:03) - missing first few notes s2t04 (8:31 - 9:50) - missing (crowd) s2t07 (2:07 + 2:10) - eliminated dropouts s2t08 (0:26 - 0:35) - missing Note that alot of the missing elements are just crowd segments, except for the AUD missing the first few notes of Candyman, and both sources missing sections of NFA, thankfully not in the same place, thus full coverage is achieved. _________________________________
