View NotesDTS-Audio-CD 5.1 Mix --------------------------------------------------------- - Mixed by [email protected] - FLAC conversion 10-SEP-2009 --------------------------------------------------------- Audio Patches: 1) Between Tennessee Jed and Mexicali Blues, 47.950 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. 2) Between Big River and Brown Eyed Women, 52.039 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. 3) At the beginning of the second set audience, 1 minute and 08.824 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. 4) Between Samson And Delilah and Candyman, 2 minutes and 15.970 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. 5) Between Candyman and Sunrise, 1 minutes and 32.971 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. 6) Between Sunrise and Passenger, 1 minutes and 15.402 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. 7) Between Passenger and He's Gone, 2 minutes and 55.724 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. This is at the end of Disk 2. 8) 10 minutes into Stella Blue, 24.560 seconds were missing from the audience source and was filled in with audio from the soundboard source. 9) Charlie Miller's 3 patches to the soundboard during Promised Land, He's Gone and Around and Around were left as is. 10) Matrix\DTS were synced using the soundboard as a reference. Both sources were well matched soundwise with a small plus of actually being a show I was lucky enough to attend. ------------------------------------------------------- Front Left Channel SBD -0db Right Channel SBD -0db Center Mixed to mono -0db SBD Surround Left Channel -0db AUD Right Channel -0db AUD Sub/LFE Mixed to mono -0db SBD -------------------------------------------------------------- More On DTS Today's audio standards are moving towards multi-channel sound, like DTS and Dolby Digital. While the Audio-CD standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial) to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the volume very low, start the disc and raise the volume gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the analog audio outputs of your CD/DVD player. Burning Instructions Burn them the absolute same way as you would burn any normal Audio-CD from FLAC files. Brokedown House Production
