View NotesNotes: The tapes have held up surprisingly well after 45 years, the sound is nice & clear, albeit with some intrusive crowd noise at times. Mono-mixed patches from ID-141900 were added as follows: Promised Land (entire track) 0:00 > 4:19 Mississippi Half Step, 0:00 > 9:50 Deal 0:00 > 0:05 Tennessee Jed, 8:06 > 8:23 They Love Each Other 0:00 > 0:07 Loser 0:00 > 0:07 Samson & Delilah, 3:24 > 4:38 Jam (after Wharf Rat) 6:19 > 6:29 Sugar Magnolia (from ID-132697) 8:56 > 9:24 With a big huge thanks to John & Rich Petrunis for these tapes!

OConnell et al; EAC, shn, upload by A. Jerugim Set 1 - Tape has been paused between most tracks, crossfades put in to smooth. - Reversed fadeout on crowd at end of Loser and crossfaded with Lazy Lightning. - Cleaned up several other artifacts. Set 2 - s2t01 patch at 1:38-1:40, eq'd to more or less match the main source. - Reversed fade out at the end of crowd on s2t02 and crossfaded with crowd before start of s2t03. - s2t04 repaired problem at 7:42-7:44. by copying a section from within the same track and adjusting it slightly. - s2t05 problem at 0:37, sub-second patch put in. - s2t06 there was a sub-second section that shouldn't have been there, I forgot to keep a note of where it occured.. I removed it and smoothed the join. - s2t08 removed a problem, i.e I cut out a segment about 1:31 in length. It seems to have been due to a tape problem, it doesn't affect the flow! Again I forgot to make a note of where it was. - s2t09 3 small patches between 6:22-6:24. - Cleaned up several other artifacts. General: - No need to patch as the "flips" had over-lapping material. - Slight wind noise from time to time. - Small amount of hiss removal with Adobe Audition proprietary tool. - Polished with iZotope Ozone and BBE Sonic Maximiser. * All reference sources refer to this as Drums but to my way of thinking it should correctly be called "Jam".
