This is a rare entry in the BARN series that is not one of my recordings, but one that I dubbed just after it happened from the taper, Geoff Tischman. I don't have any memories of this show because I wasn't there, but it is a great listen of an absolutely spectacular sounding recording. Despite what the previous recording that's posted on archive claims, this show is one long set and not 2. There is no audible set break anywhere and before "Stone House" Lo says "We've got one more". They come back for a rare second encore set, with the second encore set being all rarely-performed covers. The covers include a clearly impromptu rendition of "Hey Bo Diddley" in the middle of "Feel The Pressure", "Over The Rainbow", "You Never Can Tell", "Come Together", and "Love Me Tender"! The stereo imaging on thi recording is beautiful (listen to the stereo keys on "Hellfire" for a great example). Particularly notable is a hot hot hot Nightingale with a jazzy piano break and then bass solo!
