It appears that there was probably a cassette deck in front of me in line from the soundboard patch (it's just around the right time where a tape flip would be) and they had a flip here, depriving us of 40 seconds of this awesome tune (which is just a bunch of blank space on my DAT). :( TT:1:57:06 Recording, transfer (2/2012), mastering, tracking, tagging (9/30-10/2/2013) by Scott Bernstein Taper notes: Continuing a mini run of God Street Wine shows, we go from my favorite GSW show ever (4/30/94) to one which I have barely any memories of -- I hardly recall the venue in (relatively) far from NYC, Trenton, NJ (which I'd been to only once before, in 1990 for a Blues Traveler show), and this is also a rare (for me) instance where I took a patch out of the soundboard to record (I always tend to prefer to run microphones as you'll get a more balanced sound, if the room sounds good). I can only assume that I chose this option because it was a really poor sounding room. Anyway, here's BARN155, another classic GSW show. Specific highlights for me listening back now: my first time hearing "Wake Up Now" which is quite striking, the great jazzy "Crazy Iranian", a ROCKIN' "Freight Train" (unfortunately missing the first 40 seconds...), and a great closing run from "Ballroom" into "Driving West" into "Upside Down/Inside Out" into "Nightingale". And I think the best jam of the night might be the encore pairing of "Into The Sea" and an ON FIRE "Dirty Little Secret". Enjoy!
