View NotesTHE STONE SUGAR SHAKEDOWN Monday, April 13th, 2015 COLE’S MEMORIAL SHOW CICERO’S, ST. LOUIS, MO Tracy Gladden - Vocals Nick Elwood - Guitar, vocals Tim Berens - Percussion Nick Doherty - Percussion Matt Reyland - Drums Tommy Stratman - Bass Jay Mumma - Sound Nick Stanford - Lights NOTES: -Cole Moeller Memorial Show - tribute to our late brother -There is one other recording from this show (from Jim) - also a stereo condenser room pair NICK’S NOTES: There was a special feeling at this show, despite the sad circumstances. You could feel Cole there, grooving’ and smiling goofy as ever, and it was a privilege to play music for so many of his (and our) friends and family. There was magic in the air. Cole was always smiling and never asked for much of anything; he radiatied an unbounded kind of joy that is too hard to find. The only song I can remember him ever requesting of us was They Love Each Other. We opened the second set with it in his honor. HIGHLIGHTS: It’s difficult to select certain songs over others… There were many strong/exciting moments within the jams. -“Expressway To Your Heart” opener -Powerful (though not totally tight) “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue” -Second Set medley (Words > It Takes All Kinds > Words > What It Is > Gangle Fandango) -“Fire On The Mountain > Jam > Fire On The Mountain” -“Into The Mystic” ender -Set Two was collectively, especially strong SPECIAL THANKS TO COLE AND HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY. SHINE ON. Thanks for your support! Please enjoy and share with your friends— www.StoneSugarShakedown.com —SEE YOU AT A SHAKEDOWN SOON!—
