View NotesThis was the headline act on Saturday night for a free music and arts festival in downtown Missoula.  The enormous stage was set on East Main Street in front of The Shack restaurant facing east toward Higgins.  Looking from the stage toward Higgins all there was to see was a mass of happy Gourds fans smiling, dancing and enjoying the glorious fall nighttime of the Northern Rockies.  While the beers flowed as steadily as the Clark Fork River just yards away, to crowds estimated to be in excess of 6,000, local police reported a peaceful night with no arrests associated to the event!   Swampy pat was on the sound board and was nice enough to capture this crystal clear recap of The Gourds brilliance that night.  There is no doubt, Missoula loves the Gourds!
