View NotesJay's Plays – Bogie Nights 3: 6-3-95 Bogie's, Albany, NY Master DAT SBD TEAC DAP-20->WAV->Audacity->CDWav->FLAC Recorded by Jay Flemma Transferred by [email protected] It's Ted's birthday! Happy Birthday, Ted! A really solid show with lots of guests and one where we start to see the evolution of the Pods show into longer versions of songs, though slightly fewer in number. (The second set has only eight songs, unusually low for that time period, particularly at Bogie's.) Cary Suite, As I Stand Here Now, What's the Buzz, and Tortured in my Sleep were excellent early in the first set, while the Anything's Possible, Sneakin Sally set closer dazzled the Front Liners. Second set saw several special guests. Will Zwink (correct spelling) sat in on alto saxophone to open the second set on Jamdom Ram (a really random jam!) into Blackberry Brandy. Aaron Maxwell from God Street joined in on Hey Donnie Osmond and the ¼ lb. Hotdog, Jump for Joy set closer was scintillating. As an aside, they also shout "Budke" over and over during Ask me if my Wheels are Turning, but it was nothing like the Mike Mosely riot. Sam Brewerton and Jon Monteith sat in for the Blister encore as well.
