View NotesJammin Jed's Halloween Safari took place on October 26, 2014 and was the sixth annual Halloween event at Darkstar in Secondlife. It featured a jungle theme with a safari ghost story and a mix of original tunes, Grateful Dead, Phish and other fun tunes.

The show opens with a wild fanfare and the Steve Miller Band classic "Jungle Love" then moves into a series of Dead and Phish themed tunes, including "Ocelot," "Monkey And The Engineer," "Lizards," "Dire Wolf" and "Bug." A powerful "Alligator" and "Walls of the Cave" combo wraps up first set.

Second set opens with the energetic Phish tune "Birds of a Feather" followed by some more Dead with "China Cat SUnflower." A brief Drums and Space type jam leads into this year's centerpiece, titled "Murder on The Muddy RIver." Jed uses a variety of sound effects and narration to tell a chilling jungle ghost story which tied in perfectly to "Black Muddy River."

The show doesn't end there. The set also features a strong version of Jed's original "Valley Of The Saints" and a rocking "Run Like An Antelope" set closer which was highlighted by an amazing antelope particle show in Secondlife.

A "Sleeping Monkey" encore pairs with the obligatory "The Pumpkin Song" to round out Jammin Jed's Halloween Safari. Enjoy!
