View NotesHere's one from the Jed Luckless '300 Tour' in 2014, which was one of the first "tours" Jed put together in Secondlife - to commemorate playing his 300th show. This concert was the halfway point in the tour and was a special "thank you" to friends and fans, which featured cabaret seating and wine tastings in Darkstar's Terrapin Station Dance Hall. The show opens with the bouncy "Queen Lucille," which apparently is inspired by Jed's great grandmother. Next up is a cut from Jed's "All At Once" album, a short and somber version of "Sunlight." Jed stops to thank everyone before lauching into his high energy original "Give It Back" for only the second time live (before it became the jam vehicle it is today). Jed takes a breath to recommend some wines, then serves up another song only played twice, a tune from his "Roll Over" album called "Barter Creek" (featuring an "Andy Griffith" theme tease). Storytime comes next, with the tale of "Ten Ounces" followed by "The Story of Shirtless Joe" (another member of the two-time only club). After a six-song run of originals, Jed wraps up the first set with a killer Phish combo featuring a lengthy "Taste" paired with a tasty "Dirt." Set two starts off with some Bob Dylan, a nice version of "Tangled Up In Blue," and then Jed returns to originals with his Phish tour inspired "Ass Gas or Grass. A quick commemoration of Jed's upcoming 300th show is followed by another Jed-riginal only played for the second time called "Lightship" and one more off his "Roll Over" album, the live debut of the fantasy role-playing inspired "Alignments." The show being at Darkstar, Jed finaly gets around to some Grateful Dead, and it's worth the wait as he tears the building down with a rockin "Samson and Delilah." A couple of songs from Jed's "Luna Suite" are next, the love song "Oh My Star" and "The Launch," the high powered climax. Jed closes out the second set with some Led Zeppelin fresh off his Jed Zeppelin show a month earlier. The encore features one last thank you in the form of "When I'm Next To You," from the "Mighty Wind" movie soudntrack. This is a special show designed to say thanks to Jed's friends and fans for a wildly successful tour in Secondlife leading up to his 300th show. It's loaded with early versions of now classic Jed tunes, some tasty jams and several great rock covers. Enjoy!
