matrix of DSBD: shnid=34551 and DAUD: shnid=10543 by hansokolow using ProTools
Taper Notes:
View NotesThis is a matrix, done by hansokolow in ProTools, of the following digital sources: SBD: shnid=34551 Set 2 only! Source: DSBD > DAT > [?] > CDR > EAC > CEPro > CDWAV > FLAC (level 8) Thanks to Andy Lemieux for the disks EAC etc. by Matt Vernon May 4, 2006 ------------------------------- AUD: shnid=10543 Source: AUD(Nak 300 Shotguns)>Aiwa DAT>CDR>WAV>SHNv3 Comments: Above average audience recording with minimal audience intrusiveness and with Branford Marsalis for the entire show. Thanks to Henry Wankleswurth and the Society for the Chronicali Out of Phayze for the seed. DAE(EAC0.9 beta 4) > tracking(cdwav) > SHN (shorten 3.4) > FTP via neo_levo/candyman FTP. TMNSP - 07.02. ------------------------------- hansokolow's notes: I saw this whole run of shows, and they were all good, but this one with Branford just totally blew us away. It was definitely the last truly great Dead show I attended. In fact the only ones I attended after this were the final two shows ever, in Chicago. In any case, this show is definitely underrated, imho, as the Branford shows go. Eyes is lovely, but the real meat is the jam from Estimated into He's Gone. That section just tore all of our faces off. Enjoy! This is a matrix of set 2, as there is no SBD of set 1 available. The SBD starts just after a minute or so of tuning, leading up to Eyes. There is a split-second gap in the DAUD in Eyes at 13:29. There's crowd noise missing on the DSBD between Samba and Estimated. Both sources have some of the crowd noise missing from between Good Lovin' and the encore, so I added fades. -Tano ([email protected]) completed: 06/24/2009

I did a Re-Edit and just used the Second source to patch 3:46 at the start of Samba In The Rain (20:12->23:58) On the circulated source there is very loud talking from a gentleman whose view being Blocked by the tapers. * Show With Branford Marsalis * Set #2 is Seamless
