Tascam DA-20MKII > Tascam HD-P2 > CF card > usb 2.0 > pc > WaveLab 5.01b (de-emphasis, fades, resample to 44.1 kHz, patches) > CD Wave v1.95.1 > FLAC v1.1.4 (Level 8)
Taper Notes:
View Notess: The original DAT recording was made with pre-emphasis. The Waves Q10 Paragraphic EQ v5.0 plug-in was used to de-emphasize the recording. The original 48 kHz .wav files from the DAT transfer have been archived, and are available upon request. Big thanks to Dave for letting me borrow the master DAT tape! patch notes: there were a few drop-outs on Dave's master DAT. These were patched with the following source: PMB Microphones (German) FOB > Sony D7 @ 48k Taped by Dave Minor Transfered by Marc Pujol 02/01/2003 The PMB source was used at the following locations: It's All Over Now: [00:17] to [00:21] [00:24] to [00:27] [01:04] to [01:06] Row Jimmy: [04:33] to [04:36] [04:39] to [04:41] Crazy Fingers: [01:08] to [01:15] [01:24] to [01:26] [04:47] to [04:50] Not Fade Away: [07:45] to [08:43] Dave was running a 3 hour DAT tape, and was very close to the end of the tape by the end of the 2nd set. To conserve space on the tape, Dave stopped the deck during the encore break. However, the audience continued to sing Not Fade Away throughout the whole encore break. The long patch in Not Fade Away is the missing audience singing during the encore break.
