View NotesNotes: Two days after being turned away with my gear by the TSA-like security at San Diego's North Park Observatory (and selling my ticket at the door), I got the chance to watch and record Godspeed in one of the coolest venues I've ever been at, just 15 minutes north of Joshua Tree NP. An outdoor show in the middle of the California desert is as cool as it gets, so no tears for the San Diego show. I was pretty close to the stage for this one, close enough that I could make out a pretty accurate sound stage of the band as most of the sound was being picked up from the amps, so this recording offers you that cool spatial effect. It's very clean recording, and this new material is IMO their best since the reunion, so it's a very worthy grab. #Please pass the info file along as you distribute the show# -j.mart 2018/05/28
