Now for the audience part do not expect too much! The story behind the tape is a funny one . i asked friends of mine who were there for calexico to tape this show for me. usually they get"backstage"and "all access" passes and were happy to do this for me . Joe was one of the earliest gigs to happen and unfortunately my friends did not get their passes until a later (post Joe show ) point. Not to disappoint me, they decided to tape the Open Air show from outside the Schlosshof ( the castles yard). They hung their micro in some tree and it turned out quite okay under these circumstances. What nobody knew was that this balloon was coming down so that its passengers could have a birdseye view of the show. And.... yes.... you guessed it ......at one point it had to go up again.. so what you hear is the ignition of the flamethrower of the balloon blasting before Breakfast for 2 and through out the first 1.30 mins..guess it also spoiled the fm recording of this part of the show The broadcast features Joe 's political and social side..something the radio could could use as a red threat...but the quality is excellent... all the fm credits go to hanno who was alert!! thanx all aud credits to -r+a- thanx
