A great outdoor show on the boardwalk on a beautiful night in Rockaway Beach. Its always great to see the boys bust out some new covers. This show had a special vibe to it. Over the past year Andrew has been steadily improving on guitar, and it really shows on this show. With a new (old) amp, and pedal board his tone has never been better. Jason is starting to play with much more confidence, which is leading to him taking more chances and it's paying off. Those dude's improvements led to an awesome chemistry with Ian and Marc. The whole show was played with a looseness that this band never really showed before. Ian is… Ian. He never ceases to amaze. I feel the same way about Marc's Drumming. 

Taper Notes:
Another great sounding show. I'd say this recording's biggest improvement over the last Thai Rock gig is the clarity of vocals. Every instrument is well balanced volume wise. I used a wind cover for the first time and i am glad that i did. It was a rather breezy night, and you can hardly tell on the recording. Slight volume fluctuations in the beginnings of each set.
