November 8, 2023 Charlie Miller Notes: -- The tape runs out towards end of Golden Road vg NOTES (11/13/2023): --Muchas Gracias GRANDE to Randy Fleck for recording & sharing out this Zero 1988 show, to Jason Scheuner for providing the tape & to Charlie Miller for the transfer & the share out to the world at large. Absolutely Appreciated!! --I added the band members info, though this is not 1000% confirmed (I don't believe Cipollina was a constant member of the band by this point & can't hear a 2nd guitar until t13 ("Golden Road") (that may be him, maybe Terry Haggerty??)...also, don't hear trumpet at this show, so I don't believe that Hadi Al-Saadoon was present at this one. If anyone knows any different, please won't you chime in & let us all know?? --Also, during t01 ("tuning") around 0:44 seconds in, I hear someone say "can you turn Jimmy?? (Ginny??) up in the..." - anyone know who this is referring to?? This is during the guy hitting the keys, so I assume it's referring to the keyboard player. --corrected some of the song titles toward how they appear on the original albums --added more detail to the setlist info --added more detail to the venue info --this venue no longer exists...it began its life in 1978 & closed its doors in 1990. It was housed in a building on La Plaza in Cotati that was built 1910 and was originally the Ladies' Club Hall. The building was used for community events & meetings until 1977 or 1978 when the Cotati Club opened. Many Bay Area, national & international performers played at the venue between 1978 and the closing of the club in 1990. The building is now the home of the synagogue Ner Shalom. --https://jerrygarciasbrokendownpalaces.blogspot.com/2012/02/cabaret-cotati-85-la-plaza-cotati-ca.html --Cotati Cabaret alum: https://www.facebook.com/groups/131258080244125/ --http://www.deaddisc.com/GDFD_Cotati_Cabaret.htm --added the ffp fingerprints to the text file --added some nice pics of the venue --I left the original text file in here, renamed as 'originalinfo'
