Taper Notes:
View NotesDisc 1 & 2 are from an excellent recording, disc 3 however has been cobbed together from the only available source so far. Please see the notes below. original seeder's notes: this is a supplement to the first two discs which have already been posted. the first two discs sound A+ excellent but this one doesn't. this one is from a cassette source but it's all we've got (we can thank JanneyW for that). there is some controversy over the actual setlist for the end of this show because I have a crappy video of this show and it goes like this: You Fucked Up, Buenos Tardes Amigos, Purple Rain and then the video cuts during Purple Rain... we may never know what actually happened that night or we may not care.... Updated notes 1/24/06: The original seeder for this had the order as LMLYP, instrument destruction, Purple Rain, Spinal Meningitis, and Sarah, all tracks cut in between. By the seeder's own estimation from video evidence, Purple Rain should probably precede all of those tracks (Buenos Tardes is missing entirely), and from listening, you can hear Gener strum the first chord to Sarah after Spinal Meningitis, but the very beginning of Sarah is cut and then after the song it's pretty obvious that the band is leaving the stage. There is no real evidence to join Purple Rain and Spinal, but it stands to reason that Spinal came afterwords. Lastly, LMLYP is of course going to be the and encore and destroying their instruments would functionally end the show. Given all of this, this is what I did, I crossfaded the crowd at the end of Purple Rain to the crowd at the beginning of Spinal, it's still slightly abrupt, then I crossfaded the Sarah to the end of Spinal, again abrupt since the beginning of Sarah was cut. I applied a fade to the crowd at the end of Sarah and then faded in where LMLYP begins. I joined the seperate instrument destruction track to the end of LMLYP and left it as one big track (over 40 minutes!) Unfortunately, the FLAC for instrument destruction would not decode completely, so we are missing about a minute and a half of feedback, my apologies. All in all, still less than perfect, but it flows a bit better than the orginal seed. Hopefully in the future we will have a full source for this show, until then, this shall suffice. Rev. Mike
