View NotesTaper's Notes: This is by far the best concert I saw this year and it easily gets in my top 10 of all times. It was the best show of this tour until now they told us afterwards, and I cant stop listening to this recording. Although 78 minutes are saved it misses about 10/15 minutes. Don't know why the MD stopped recording during "distortion", but it did. I noticed it after "you are never alone" which is not on this recording and it took some time into "warm" to set the MD levels right to record the rest of the show. At first I wasn't planning to seed this, but Vic and band are at their best so you will enjoy it anyway. I had to remove some bass to save my speakers, but what is left is a great listen. From the hilarious (but low volume) soundcheck till the end. hope you enjoy it like I do support the artists, buy their records Uploader's Notes: A complete source for this set is here: http://www.archive.org/details/VicChesnutt2007-11-25.Eindhoven.flac16 Uploaded by _tunic_ on February 16, 2012

View NotesLine-up (from right to left on stage): Vic Chesnutt - guitar, vocals Jessica Moss - violin (A Silver Mt. Zion, Black Ox Orkestar) Thierry Amar - bass (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, ASMZ, BOO) David Payant - drums, keys (ASMZ). Efrim Menuck - guitar (GY!BE, ASMZ) Guy Piccioto - guitar (Fugazi) Except: ^ Vic solo + Vic with Thierry * Vic with Jessica Notes: I only knew Vic or Fugazi by name, and hadn't listened to ASMZ for years. So if they hadn't stopped by my hometown, I probably wouldn't have gone to see them. It turned out to be one of the best shows I've ever seen. My mics were hanging over the balcony, which is in a 90 degrees angle from the stage with a bar below. So especially at the start there's some disruption of glasses tingling and fridges slamming shut, but not too disturbing. In the original recording there was a large difference in the soft and the louder parts, fortunately Sloan offered his help to make it sound better. There is another (incomplete) recording available for this show, taped by Kingme66: http://archive.org/details/vc2007-11-25.eindhoven.ecm717.flac16
