Taper Notes:
View Notes* = w/Joshua Redman on saxophone ^ = reprise from the previous night + = w/Brendan on acoustic guitar I scrubbed (among others, this is an incomplete list) loud claps from S1T3(11 claps), S1T4(1 clap), S1T5(9 claps), S1T6(16 claps), S1T7(12 claps), S1T9(21 claps), S1T10(1 clap), S1T11(1 clap), S2T2(1 loud yell), S2T5(1 loud yell), S2T9(6 claps), S2T10(1 loud yell), S2T11(1 clap) Total time: 2:35:14 Big thanks to Justin Marinoff and Jon McLennand for the "official taper guest list slot" hook up! Unfortunately the band has little control over their guest seats and the location of my seat was slightly less than ideal (Row C in the Loge is great for sightlines and GOOD but not GREAT for recording from). My recording was a tad dull sounding, so I pulled out one of the tools that SoundForge offers -- the "iZotope Mastering Exciter", to give it a little extra polish, and it really sounds nice and crisp now! Unfortunately there's little I can do about the occasional chatterboxes around me (not TOO bad). The low ceilings in the Loge made it so that every clap on my recording was amplified (and doubled due to the reflection off the ceiling), so I had to spend some extra effort scrubbing some loud claps and yells from this one and presenting it to you in the best possible manner!
