Todd Carey 2006-10-26 from Philadelphia, PA at a showcase at the Tin Angel as a Duo Show!

What I've posted here is a really good first glimpse at a much deeper artist than a short set like this can hold.  I hope you enjoy it and explore further!
I think he's ahead of the game in the contemporary pop-rock song craft.  He's played on bills with Josh Kelley(NYE 2006-12-31), Corey Smith, Marc Brussard etc... etc.. and has played at venues ranging from House of Blues to Hotel Cafe (from Coast to Coast).  He allows live taping for trade only! And that's how we're lucky enough to come by this rare gem by him!  Todd Carey is acclaimed for his hot-wire performances.  Carey has been hailed as a "talented musician with a lot of energy and an established following" (MTV-Online), to a "star front man (with) solid material." (Music Connection)  
I'd like to go on and tell you that his guitar style is likend to John Mayer's talent and that I've seen him pull out the "Machine Gun" Trey Anastasio wisdom and we should probably compare elements of John Scofield and Keller Williams in looping talents with guitar and vocals accordingly especially in the live format!  His songs are moving and touch upon the most certain elements of the human condition.  I listened to his new album and it's prevailing theme reaches nature's modes of 'want.' Certain artists have an epiphanies at different times in their career, but Todd's never ceased to amaze me, especially while getting into it with his crackerjack band of uber-talented musicians!  I'm just glad to be the first uploader for him.
