Show Notes: Well, when you have 36 Crazyfists playing 500 miles from home, and Ben Harper playing 300 miles from home, why not cram a near 300-mile drive to Talkeetna into the day off to catch Tim Easton yet again? He's been to Alaska an easy dozen times over the years. This was a pretty unique gig, held unamplified in the lobby of a remote hotel. Talkeetna is a small town that is at the end of an 18 mile spur-road off of the Parks Highway, and most of the Denali climbs are based out of there. A few pictures are included, including the bear in the glass case that provided the backdrop for Tim's short, acoustic, 2 set show. I always enjoy watching him play, hopefully that translates well to the recording (I set the decks on the mantle of the fireplace). Filming went fair, but 2 songs in I realized he was going to stand mostly out of frame, so I had to do a "camera move" during the 1st set. Far from 'centered', it still is a pretty good document of what Tim laid down. He's due south and east(on) of me, and thru the miracles of modern innerweb service, Dennis is able to mold my garbage into munchies for your earholes. Be sure to throw him a "thanks Dennis" for his time. I'm still trying to fucking figure out how to climb Mt. McKinley (nee: Denali) ---ballsedeep OUT!!!
