Taper Notes:
View Notes* = Originally Recorded By Blue Öyster Cult. ^ = Original '93 rendition, Brian & Lou only. + = Originally Recorded By Supertramp. As weird as this might sound, this was the first time I've seen TVP play in Detroit. They are a Michigan band - however, they play to the Lansing, Grand Rapids, Saginaw, Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, etc markets more. Strange! Regardless, Brian made sure to make mention of playing there back in the day and how special a place it is. Hes right... a ton of history between those walls. They ended up drawing a really good crowd as well! It wasnt at capacity, but it had to be close. When I walked in at 845 (doors were at 8), I had to fight my way to get my spot near the right stack. Then I had to be polite while setting everything up as it was quite crowded on the floor. The band didnt come out until 11pm (late show) and played til (roughly) 1245am. Great performance with some surprises in the setlist. Brother Elsey and Domestic Problems both opened the show [not recorded]. Thanks to the band for leaving a taping pass! Much appreciated.
