This show was TVP's 3rd straight year playing 20 Monroe Live (having opened up the venue on February 10th, 2017). They returned to help celebrate the venue's 2nd birthday and played nearly a 2 hour set. The band also professionally recorded the show for a possible live release later in the year. That is not set in stone, so I taped just in case. Regarding the setlist, I found it very curious they only performed 1 song from the previous 2 albums (combined) and stuck to the older material. It was exciting to see "Headlines", "She Has Faces" & "Supergig" return from 1999's ST record. Hopefully they are preparing something for it's 20th anniversary this summer. One can only hope. They have also soundchecked "The F Word" recently, so its cool knowing they are revisiting that material. This was my first time ever hearing "Her Ornament" performed, so that was also a highlight. All in all, this was a great show. The only minor gripe would be 1 song representing their new material on a possible live record. I would have loved to have seen them include "It's The Little Things" since its without question one of the most fun newer songs to hear live.
