I arrived late to this show due to a 35 minute delay on the 696 Woodward off ramp. I learned that when you're dealing with construction and you then throw in 5 lanes of traffic all merging at the same time youre going to have a problem. Ive never in my life seen anything like it. Please avoid this exit at all costs in the near future. I was running from the parking garage to the theatre and could hear them starting the show with "I Can't Get You Off Of My Mind" from the street! Hats off to security as they knew I was coming (thanks to the band!) and didnt even stop me to pat me down or go through my bag of gear. They waived me right in. I had my mics and stand up within 4 minutes only missing the first song and half of "Cup Of Tea". The show fades in at this point. The sound was fairly good on the main floor and didnt have to do too much in post. I brought the bass down just a touch. * This was a non-profit performance w/ 100% of the proceeds going to Fund a Life.
