NICK’S NOTES:

This was a really fun show!  It’s a shame the first set didn’t get captured; it featured material equally as good as Set Two and first-time-plays including the original “Don’t It Make Ya Wish”.  Also, especially disappointing is that the jams with John Hussung on bass — and most of what Phil Wright played on harmonica — weren’t recorded.

All that aside, the music was cookin’ and there was a confident sense of exploration on tracks like the DADGAD > Drums > Jam > Hello My Friend medley and others.  Lots of good energy and kind people helped fuel the jams.  Sit-ins from Vinnie, John, and Phil helped make this a special show.

Some first-time-played tunes include “The Joker”, “Testify”, “DADGAD”, “King Bee”, “Don’t It Make Ya Wish”, and “Prince Caspian”.

It got a little weird in there!  Let us know what YOU think…
