Show Notes: Oh what a night this was. Our friend Mark Gehring and Vega Productions put together this special evening to raise money for the Lyndale Elementary music program so the next generation of Rock Stars can be born. Full line up being: Pistol Whippin Party Penguins -> Down Lo -> God Johnson -> Pert Near Sandstone. Robyne Robinson from Fox9 News MC'd the evening and we got a special video greeting from senator Amy Klobuchar and in person from State Senator Linda Berglund. SO.. as a taper I'm really pissed at myself and hopefully not at someone who monkeyed where no monkey should tread. After having been at the venue since sound check 'round 5pm I went to get a quick bite to eat 1/2 hr before show time. After managing to get a restaurant to actually cooperate and get our food to us quick (and tasty) got back to the show about 10 mins post PWPP's starting time. This is not what I may be pissed about because being the quick thinker I am I left my rig recording when I left. What did happen though is that When I returned I opened the lid of my laptop to find it recording a flat line. Apparently about 15 minutes prior the power cord for my pre-amp got wiggled and she being the old girl she is doesn't like that too much and lost power. LSS I lost the beginning of this set. Hopefully not too much (depending on who I talked to one or two songs and about 10 seconds of the first one I have here which I've faded into to make it a lil less abrupt) but still.. I'm all about completeness and failed on that mark this time. That all being said what I did capture was one heck of a boot stompin time with the PWPP and I'm especially happy with the sonic quality of all of the recordings made this night. Huge thanks to the Enginneer for putting great work into the air for me to capture and thanks to all the bands for playing excellent shows. Enjoy! -Nate
