View NotesPossibly the most fun I've ever had before or during a show. Everyone please be sure to get in your Robs, especially on long journeys. There was someone in the venue whistling, a lot. I did my best to remove it, especially when it was during actual songs, but there are some lingering artifacts. I do not know how the people who were closer to it did not lose their minds. Huge thanks to Tipitina's staff & FOH Tubbs & the other fella whose name is escaping me for the assistance setting up. It's always kind of the best thing ever to tape in a historic venue like Tipitina's, doubly so when everyone is so chill and kind. JD proclaimed this the official final show on the Jenny from Thebes tour, which began in October 2023. I am massively thankful to have been able to catch the first and the last shows of the tour. As is generally the case, this run of shows was my favorite of all time. They just keep going further and further, man. Wild. Thanks as always to the band's longtime touring engineer & tour manager Brandon Eggleston for all the work he does in supporting livetaping, and for the phenomenal mix.
