View NotesThis was my first recording ever! I didn't know what to set the h4n mic levels to, so I used the default (80) and it came out way too high. The quieter songs still came out pretty well. If I could do it over again I'd set it to 20 for most stuff, 30-40 for the quiet ones. It was a sitting venue, so I set it on my leg and tried to point it so the top of the device was pointing at the middle spot between a speaker and JD. I move it around a bunch though- I should have just let it stay as it was once I set it down at the beginning. Adding all this info in-case anyone else wants to record down the line. 

I accidentally stopped recording in the middle, sorry :( 

Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet though, and the fact that this one didn't come out great just made me more determined to get good ones on the subsequent nights, and I think those turned out awesome. So I hope everyone enjoys!
