THE MACHINE (NL) AND FRIENDS Up In Smoke Tour Vol. 1 Posthalle, Wuerzburg, Germany February - 11 - 2011 SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE Closing act --- from SETHELIGHT7 collection # 234 --- Rec. Info: OKM2R->ZoomH2 (WAV 16/44)->SD->HD->Soundengine (edit/remaster)->WAV->TLH8->FLAC->DIME-> YOUR EARS AND MIND are freaking out on this. All thanks to SEETHELIGHT7 for capturing this important moment in musical history!!! Thanks to Sound of Liberation/Matte and local organizer Horst Porkert. Recorded with permission by David Eering, the guitarwizard. Thank you David! SOME PICTURES BY SEETHELIGHT7 and LORD DIE included. --- Finally, here it is. THE REAL DEAL...Some weeks ago, I've posted both a MACHINE JAM and a "real" show from PNF#3 in Wuerzburg. Probably due to the enomous effect on listeners (like me) and the outstanding performance on both shows, they were invited back as "Special Guest" on the UP IN SMOKE VOL.1 Tour-Stop in Wuerzburg and Dresden. Like me and many others of us here in northern parts of Europe, the extraordinary drummer, Davy Boogaard, got sick with flu and had to stay in bed at the hotel. This could happen to the best of us, and if you're shattering your bones, coughing your lungs out or whatever else, there is no way to fuel an excited drumkit that wants to be beaten... Therefor, David and Hans decided to put on a MACHINE JAM with friends on the drums, and even a second drum-set. Woah! What a challenge to be done... Ok, it'Äs not Jaimoe/Butch, oder Mickey/Billy or any other band that's been known for the precise execution of two minds drumming, but this is worth well listening, as that experiment (as David called it) came out very well. Enough talking and rumbling and advertising... LET YOUR BRAIN MELT ON THIS FORMIDABLE PERFORMANCE... ENJOY AS MUCH AS SEETHELIGHT7 AND YOURS TRULY SPACEBANDIT DID AND DO... AGAIN, FROM MY FAVOURITE NEIGHBOUR COUNTRY, HOLLAND, FREAK OUT! FULL SHOW (65:54 min.) 01. Annoucement by David (0:48) 02. Jam # 1 (22:42) * 03. Jam # 2 (31:44) 04. Jam # 3 (10:40) * there's a short glitch between 1/2 and some seconds missing. This is why I set the trackmark there. I don't think much is missing. Pasted the tracks together. Anyway, I don't think that occurence disturb too much...But that's what I got. THE MACHINE JAM IN WUERZBURG 2011/02/11 was done by these suspects... DAVID EERING - all guitar HANS VAN HEEMST - all bass HANS MULDER - drums (from SUNGRAZER) MILAN PFUETZEREUTER - second drumset (unamplified) (from RotoR) TIM MENTZEL - alternating with MILAN on second drumset (guitar player from RotoR) ------------------------------------------------ THANKS TO DAVID EERING FOR HELP WITH THE LINEUP HERE. WITHOUT THAT, I'D BE NOT ABLE TO BRING UP COMPLETE INFORMATION. ------------------------------------------------ THE MACHINE's been one of the few really EXCITING new bands, I've seen in a long time. Go out, buy their records (they are available at www.elektrohasch.de or www.nasoni.de) visit their LIVE shows (C'mon you Holland Freaks...) or at least visit their websites. Probably they still have some "DRIE" in red Vinyl in store???
