THE FLYING EYES Burg Herzberg Festival 2010 Breitenbach, Hessen, Germany July - 16 - 2010 Opening set - noon time --- It's a SPACEBANDIT, so you're in there --- Rec. Info: OKM2R -> ZoomH2 (WAV 16/44) -> SD -> HD -> Soundengine (edit/remaster) -> WAV -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND... Recorded by yours truly in the blazing heat of 35+ Celsius, front row center. Missing the encore due to a dying battery in the microphone box... --- My first encounter with this very special fine young psychedelic rock band, and I fell in love with their music right from the start of that show. As I did not expect that much positive output from an opening act at noon time, I was simply blown away by their musical skills and performance. Very symphathetic guys, who - I guess so - knew how to take their chance. By start, only a few people showed up at stage (maybe due to the brutal heat), but people got more and more. Really would like to see'em again there, but first is Osnabrueck tomorrow. The recording came out a bit on the strange side, as the acoustics are more picked up from the front monitors, rather than the sound system. Gives this a bit of a 60's feeling...which isn't bad at all, adds even more character to the music. I hope you'll like what you hear, and will go to their shows. They are very communicative and taper-friendly. So, here's another one...ENJOY! as much as I do. SB --- FROM BALTIMORE, PSYCHEDELIC STATES OF THE WORLD... ALMOST FULL SHOW (74:15) 01. Spiral intro to ... -> (6:47) 02. Around the bend (3:53) 03. Nowhere to run (2:35) 04. Red sheets (3:52) 05. Winter (5:19) 06. Poison the well (3:41) 07. .Avalanche [Butthole Surfers] (4:46) 08. ... (4:42) 09. Greed (5:41) 10. Will/Elias Blues jam (3:16) 11. Death don't make me cry (4:12) 12. Noisy feedback (1:13) 13. Don't point your god at me (6:43) 14. Clouded (4:41) 15. Saw jam -> Done so wrong (6:44) 16. Rolling thunder (6:05) --- missing encore due to a melted mic battery... --- The mighty FLYING EYES are... WILL KELLY - lead vocals, guitar ADAM BUFANO - lead guitar and saw MAC HEWITT - bass and feedbacks ELIAS SCHUTZMAN - thunderous drumming

THE FLYING EYES Heidelberg, Germany Kosmodrom 16. July 2010 Audience HD Recording ECM 717 > Zoom H2 (44.1/16) I understand SpaceBandit wants this one too. So here it is. The complete headlining show from the same evening, albeit much shorter. The guys were completely wasted from the show at Herzberg, the drive down to Heidelberg and it was very late by the time they hit the stage, with two more bands on the bill that night. 01 Intro 3.16 02 Done So wrong 4.40 03 Nowhere To Run 2.38 04 Red Sheets 4.14 05 Winter 8.24 06 Death Don't Make Me Cry 4.50 07 Don't Point Your God At Me 6.44 08 (Cover?) 5.54 09 Lay With Me 8.45 10 - encore break - 1.43 11 (Cover) 5.12
