There were maybe 4 or 8 spots where Chris's vocal overloaded the board, and it made the charactaristic transistor crunchle. Yeah, C-R-U-N-C-H-L-E crunchle. Like a crunchy crackle. Well I zoomed in and figured out what the problem was, and was able to really help out all but two spots. I could get technical and tell you that one of the crunchle spots I fixed was about .091 of a second in duration, with tiny trouble spots on both channels of the board feed every .002 of a second, and lasting about 1/2000 of a second each, and that each micro-event had an effect on the audience sound, where the little glitch was replicated on that. Well, I penciled out each spot I could find, and now Bad Enough is good enough for my ears. Still has some remnants, but in retrospect, when I listen back to the 2008 Dangers show - well heck, I can hear the same thing goin' on there too! Oop, good thing I didn't get technical and mention that the worst two spots are at 2:31 of Bad Enough, and 2:28 of Radio City.
