MT>cardreader>CEPro2.0 and Tascam DA-20MKII>MT>cardreader>CEPro2.0 for sbd source

View Notes********************************** This is the 16-bit version A 24-bit version is also available ********************************** Processing: conversion of all files to 32 b.f. format, convert sbd to mono, EQ of sbd source, mixing, EQ, fades at disc starts/ends, resample to 44.1 (highest quality level), Waves IDR dither to 16bit, CDWav, FLAC(level 8). Comments: In the on-the-fly UA-5 matrix, the MGs are about 70% of the signal with the Audix providing about 30%. The sbd source was very vocal heavy, with relatively little bass and drum. The original stereo recording of this source was not at all reflective of the stage setup, and I decided it would be most useful to convert it to mono. Since all I really wanted from the sbd was the vocals, I applied EQ to bring up the vocal range and drop the bass even further. The final mix in CEPro is probably about 50% mics and 50% sbd for the vocals, but I'd guess about 85-90% mics for the instruments. Maybe a little more from the sbd for the guitar. I panned the sbd source to the left to keep the vocals in the same place in the image. The left channel is thus somewhat louder than the right, but after some experimenting with raising the level of the right channel that tended to obscure the image, I decided to leave it alone.
