The Angels openly love Asheville (and Asheville reciprocated with a sellout) and it always shows in their performance. This 'un is no exception. A more compact set than their past shows here due to the co-headline bill with Black Mountain but in many ways all the more potent due to that fact. Loud one here folks. Wore plugs and my ears still rang most of the morning. Again, nice balance on this one with really clear vocals (sometimes Alex can get lost in the fuzz and reverb).
