REMIX - EQ Stu Allen guitar and vocals Mookie Siegel keys and vocals Greg Anton Drums Robin Sylvester Bass Mark Karan guitar and vocals (most tracks) Note: this was the first appearance of this line-up for Stu Allen and Friends, and is of note since the same band exists as Ghosts Of Electricity, playing electric covers of Bob Dylan, and also archived here at LMA. Notes: This superb soundboard recording was made by Bo Putnam. There was also an on-stage microphone recording, and various attempts made to matrix the two together, but none seemed to maintain the clarity and detail of Bo's original mix. However, I felt the bass was muffled, compared to its prominent place in the mix on the night; a little gentle eq has released the bass, sharpened the crispness, and seems to have removed some of the background noise from the original soundboard recording. I applied gentle boost to certain low-bass frequencies, and a corresponding bump in the mid-highs; I then remixed this version back into the original recording at -10 dB, maintaining the clarity and precision of Bo's recording whilst gently broadening the apparent frequency response. Enjoy!
