4 MIC Mix: Oktava MC-012 (ortf, dangling from center balcony at sbd)> Roland UA5 (Oade Mod 1) > Nomad JB3 optical in> Lectrosonic 201 wireless feed>PSC (Professional Sound Corp.) M4 A+ 4 channel mixer ( mixed about 20% oktava)> Tascam-DA-P1
Lineage:
Tascam DA-P1>TascamCDRW700>EAC> Wavelab 5.0 (batch render mastering w/ multiband compressor & meta normalize)> mkw (0.96f)
Taper Notes:
View NotesHere's a great one for audio/recording enthusuiasts. This is definately the most geeked out I've gotten with recording equipment...2 Oktava's dangling from the balcony in the center of two spread Rode NT2s into a four channel mixer. Thanks to Jay for the gadgets...recording engineers have the coolest stuff. For your comparison, there is also an isolated source of the Oktava's up on the archive. The difference is remarkable. The 4 mic mix is really spacious sounding and great in head phones. Several times I was fooled enough to turn my head because there is such a stereo image. It sounds like you're floating about 25' in the air in the center of the Tabernacle. Enjoy! Zach
