Chris Cacavas did a five song solo set first. Track 01-07: Steve wynn solo Track: 08-22: Steve Wynn & Chris Cacavas Track 21: with Thomas Geigenschrey - violine Steve Wynn - voc, guit Chris Cacavas - voc, guit, keyb, harmonica, back voc It took me more than 10 years to make this happen. After one show Steve did in Berlin I took all my courage to ask him (because I found on his website, that he's doing "house-shows" in the states). Finally in november 2019 the opportunity popped up - the plan for a duo-tour with Chris Cacavas appeared on the horizon. But some problems emerged. Because there was also a tour planned to promote the new "Dream Syndicate" album which should bring the band to Berlin, all Wynn/Cacavas duo-shows were cancelled in these 2 towns where the "Dream Syndicate" also would play. There was some kind of apprehension by the US-booking agency that the duo-shows may result in smaller audiences for the band shows. But after all, it finally happend, and I was so proud and happy but also nervous as a mouse facing a gang of hungry cats. The guys played a 2 hour show, I was happy, my little place was packed, the people were pretty enthusiastic (some nearly freaked out) and Steve and Chris had fun. What else can you ask for? I had to do some work on the recording, because the guys made some pretty good noise, so there were some "bleed-trough" into the microphones, I tried my best to fix that. Beside that, very little editing was done. I cut out some of my unimportant blubber, some tunings and some audience-noise, but no music is lost.
