The band had been on tour in Europe earlier in the month and came out firing on all cylinders. The Lou Reed songs also appeared to have been well-rehearsed. - The show was billed as an "all Lou Reed set". It started off with great versions of four Steve Wynn/Miracle 3 songs before settling into nine Lou Reed songs. - The "medicinal break" is Linda Pitmon requesting a whiskey for Steve because his voice was giving out. She sampled it first to make sure it was OK.
